From the Automation System

  • Leads captured through your automation (form submissions, enquiries)
  • Customer interaction data (email opens, replies, SMS responses)
  • Automated conversation and follow-up history
  • SEO and performance data from audit reports

From Our Website

  • Basic analytics: page views, referrer source, device type
  • No tracking pixels, no third-party advertising
  • Session cookies only (see Section 7)

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Demo booking data: To schedule and run your demo, send follow-up information, and improve our service
  • Automation data: To operate your automation system, generate reports, and provide insights
  • Website analytics: To understand how visitors use our site and improve user experience
  • We never sell your data to third parties
  • We never share your data with third parties for advertising purposes
  • We do not use your data to train AI models

3. Data Security

4. Data Ownership

All business data generated by the automation system belongs to you — not SiteToLead. We are stewards of your data, not owners.

  • All leads captured belong to you
  • All customer data and contact information belongs to you
  • All automation data, reports, and insights belong to you
  • SiteToLead owns the automation platform and technology — not your data
  • We will never claim ownership of your business data

5. Your Right to Export Data

  • You can request a complete data export at any time — active client or not
  • Data will be provided in portable, standard formats (CSV, JSON, or other agreed format)
  • Request exports via email: Sales@getsitetolead.com
  • We will fulfil export requests within 7 business days
  • There is no charge for data exports
  • No restrictions or conditions on how you use your exported data

6. Third-Party Tools

We use a limited set of trusted third-party tools to deliver our service:

  • Calendly — booking widget on our website. Calendly Privacy Policy
  • Email providers — for sending automated follow-up sequences (secure, encrypted transmission)
  • SMS gateways — for sending SMS alerts (secure, encrypted)
  • Minimal analytics — no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no third-party ad tracking

We vet all third-party tools for security and data handling practices before use.

7. Cookies

  • We use minimal, functional cookies only
  • Session cookies: used to maintain your browsing session on our site
  • No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no cross-site cookies
  • You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time
  • Disabling cookies will not significantly affect your use of this website

8. Your Rights

  • Right to access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
  • Right to export: Export all your business data at any time in a portable format
  • Right to delete: Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)

9. Data Retention

  • Active client data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 60 days
  • Demo enquiry data is retained for 12 months
  • Upon cancellation, your data will be deleted within 60 days unless you request an export first
  • Some data may be retained longer where required by law

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients. Continued use of the service following notification implies acceptance of the updated policy.
